Lady of the House of Jubilation
"Thou art the Mistress of Jubilation, the Queen of the Dance, the Mistress of Music, the Queen of the Harp Playing, the Lady of the Choral Dance, the Queen of Wreath Weaving, the Mistress of Inebriety Without End." hymn to Hathor

no other god in egypt had more festivals in her honor. more children were named after her than any other god. her name means ' the house of horus' that is horus is contained within her. she is the mother of all, ruler of the entire universe, the limit.

joy. unspeakable joy.

"Hathor, Lady of Amenty, the Dweller in the Great Land, the Lady of Ta-Tchesert, the Eye of Ra, the Dweller in his breast, the Beautiful Face in the Boat of Millions of Years, the Seat of Peace of the doer of truth, Dweller in the Boat of the favoured ones....." the book of the dead

hug a cow, kiss a baby, praise beauty, get drunk , dance, fall down.

"The beauty of your face
Glitters when you rise
Oh come in peace.
One is drunk
At your beautiful face,
O Gold, Hathor."

hathor gave birth to the sun,the deceiver, not the other way around.

Re: Another movie

"Montague Summers, in his translation of the Malleus Maleficarum:notes that red hair and green eyes were thought to be the sign of a witch, a werewolf or a vampire during the Middle Ages;

'Those whose hair is red, of a certain peculiar shade, are unmistakably vampires. It is significant that in ancient Egypt, as Manetho tells us, human sacrifices were offered at the grave of Osiris, and the victims were red-haired men who were burned, their ashes being scattered far and wide by winnowing-fans. It is held by some authorities that this was done to fertilize the fields and produce a bounteous harvest, red-hair symbolizing the golden wealth of the corn. But these men were called Typhonians, and were representatives not of Osiris but of his evil rival Typhon, whose hair was red.' "
